Exceptional Selection of Tourbillon Watches Offered in Antiquorum’s February 7th Auction in Hong Kong

Antiquorum Auctioneers, the world’s premier watch auctioneers, is pleased to present its auction of “Important  Modern & Vintage Timepieces” on Saturday, February 7 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong. Amongst the collection of 296 timepieces is an outstanding selection of rare tourbillon wristwatches. 

Collectors will have the opportunity to preview the entire collection at Antiquorum’s offices in Hong Kong prior to the sale.

Collectors looking for an exceptional tourbillon timepiece will want  to bid on the A. Lange & Sohne  Ref. 712050 " Turbograph Pour Le Merite – Hommage to F. A. Lange,” No. 13/50. 

Made in a limited edition of 50 pieces in 2010 commemorating the brand’s 165th anniversary, it is an extremely rare 18K “honey” gold wristwatch with one-minute tourbillon regulator, split second chronograph registers and 36-hour power reserve. The lot is offered with an original fitted box, certificate and instruction booklet.

Antiquorum experts are also proud to present the Harry Winston Ref. 350-Matrl Tourbillon A Glissiere in pink gold. Made in a limited edition of 25 pieces in 2009, this is a large self-winding 18K pink gold wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon, platinum sliding weights and linear power reserve indication. It is further accompanied by the original Harry Winston box and international warranty booklet.

Also offered is the Roger Dubuis Ref. DBPU0001 Tourbillon Skeleton. It is a very fine and rare 18K pink gold wristwatch with one-minute flying tourbillon regulator.  It is offered with a guarantee card, certificate of origin and conformity, DVD, hangtag and instruction booklet.

Girard-Perregaux enthusiasts will be competing for the Girard- Perregaux Three Bridges Tourbillon. Made circa 2003, this is a fine and important 18K pink gold wristwatch with one-minute tourbillon regulator under three 18K pink gold bridges and an 18K pink gold gold deployant clasp.

Another fine tourbillon timepiece offered in the February auction is the Edward Piguet Tourbillon Grande Date. Made circa 2007, it is a rare and large, rectangular curved 18K pink gold wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator and large date. It is accompanied by the Audemars Piguet fitted wooden box, magnifying glass, setting pins and Certificate of Origin and Authenticity (blank).

Not to be overlooked is the Gerald Genta “Gerald Charles Tourbillon” in pink gold. Made in a limited series circa 2005, it is an extremely rare, large skeletonized 18K pink gold wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon, two barrels and an 18K pink gold buckle.

Antiquorum is also delighted to present a Panerai Ref. 348 “Lo Scienziato” Radiomir Tourbillon GMT Ceramica in the sale. Made in a unique edition of 30 units in 2010, this is an extremely rare,  large, cushion-shaped, two time zone, skeletonized ceramic watch with one minute dual axes tourbillon, three barrels, 6 day power reserve indicator, 24-hour indication and a black coating stainless steel double deployant clasp. It is accompanied by the original box, certificate, international guarantee certificate, instruction booklet, booklet (Lo Scienziato 2010, Tribute to Galileo Galilei 2011 and Panerai catalog 2010) Galileo’s Telescope book, hang tag and sticker.

Finally, tourbillon fans will be enticed by the Breguet “Tourbillon No. 60,” Ref. 3350 in pink gold. Made in the 1990’s, it is a fine and rare 18K pink gold wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator and an 18K pink gold Breguet deployant clasp. It is accompanied by a box and certificate.
