Hong Kong’s first Chinese ‘Free-Flow’ Brunch 
With Traditional Entertainers 

Hutong restaurant, with its stunning views of the city skyline from the top of One Peking, Tsim Sha Tsui, is the perfect venue on a Sunday for Hong Kong’s first Chinese brunch. With unlimited dishes of Hutong’s occasionally-fiery Northern Chinese cuisine, free-flow champagne and specially created tea cocktails by Hutong’s mixologist - the ‘Fēng Wèi’ Brunch offers the complete brunch experience. ‘Brunchers’ can also enjoy performances from traditional Chinese entertainers such as Kung Fu tea pouring and Sichuan ‘face changing’ magic, both ideal for keeping the kids occupied.

Taking inspiration from its name – which literally translates to Abundant Flavours - the Fēng Wèi Brunch offers a limitless choice of delicious Chinese dishes fit for an emperor. ‘Brunchers’ begin with a lavish buffet of traditional, creative dim sum and Northern Chinese appetizers. This is followed by a selection of main dishes, served to the table, and featuring Hutong’s award-winning signature dishes as well as some new delights specially created by Hutong’s chefs. Dishes change regularly and some current choices include Lamb skewers grilled with Northern Chinese herbs and cumin, Succulent pork belly rolls grilled with shallot and green pepper and Beijing-style Boston lobster dry-braised in dark soy & chili mushroom. Those with room for more can round-off brunch with a platter of Hutong’s fine desserts.

Complementing the food, drinks includelimitless Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label champagne as well as made-to-order tea cocktails developed especially for the brunch by the restaurant’s expert Mixologist, including; the ‘Golden Orchid’, Champagne stirred with rum, triple sec, gold leaf and grapefruit tea, the ‘Lovely Osmanthus’, Gin and melon liquor shaken with pineapple, cucumber and osmanthus tea and a fresh take on the Classic Mojito, the ‘Mohito Tea’,Rum shaken with fresh mint, lime and chrysanthemum tea – all ideal refreshmentfor spring and summer days.

Hutong believes that brunch is not just a foodie affair but is a great social occasion for friends and families. Uniquely, Fēng Wèi ‘brunchers’ can enjoy a variety of authentic live performances such as the phenomenal art of Sichuan ‘Face Changing’ magic, much loved by children, Kung Fu Tea Pouring as well as the Mastery of hand-pulled Chinese noodles. Guests will also be given the chance to sample anauthentic Dan Dan Mian dish made using the handmade noodlesfreshly pulled by the Master.

Celebrating its 10 year anniversary, Hutong is a firm favourite for its award-winning Northern Chinese cuisine set against Hong Kong’s breath-taking skyline amidst billowing red silk curtains, traditional red lanterns and hand-crafted wood carvings.

The ‘Fēng Wèi’ brunch is served on Sundays from 12.00pm and is priced at HK$598 + 10% service charge per person including free-flow champagne and drinks or HK$398 + 10% for food without drinks. Children under 12 eat for free.

As well as Hutong, Aqua Restaurant Group hosts a selection of premium brunches every weekend.  On both sides of the harbour, Aqua in Tsim Sha Tsui and Armani / Aqua in the heart of Central, present the hugely-popular ‘Infinity Brunch’ which includes selected and unlimited signature Italian and Japanese dishes as well as free-flowing champagne for HK$598 + 10% service charge. The urban eateries in the heart of Soho, Vivo, Tivo & La Marmite each offer weekend brunch menus including dishes such as Vivo’s famed thin-crust pizza, Tivo’s tasty risotto and pasta, as well as La Marmite’s Steak Tartar with fries (with prices starting from HK$168 + 10% service charge per person).  

If guests are not ready to go home after brunch, they can carry on partying every Sunday from 3-7pm, at Armani/Prive’s terrace with great city vistas over bustling Central with free-flow drinks including Peroni, Prosecco and selected cocktails, all for HK$250+10% per person.
