PART 1; HOTTEST HUNKS 2012!

KEE@FSWMAG.COM
THE HOTTEST HUNKS GRAND FINALS WAS THE HOTTEST EVENT OF THE YEAR!

Of the 30 finalists, 12 were chosen to appear in 2013 calendar with one winner headlining each month. Of the 12, one would be chosen for the coveted Hunk of the Year title which simply means he is the Hottest of all Hot Hunks, the Super Hunk, the Hottestest Hunk of them all!

HELD AT THE KL & SELANGOR CHINESE ASSEMBLY HALL ON JALAN MAHARAJALELA ON 2 NOVEMBER, THE HOTTEST HUNKS CONTEST WAS ORGANISED BY NEWICON MAGAZINES, THE SISTER MAGAZINE OF NEWTIDE AND WAS SPONSORED BY GORGEOUS FITNESS WHOSE BOSS ALSO LOOKED LIKE A CONTESTANT AS HE WAS HOT!

Co-Sponsors were mface, Bravo Events and Entertainment, Redken (I like their shampoo in the goody bag!), Bobby Brown and Mercedes Benz Eyewear (I didn't realise the famous carmaker also does sunglasses and now we know!).

The main media group behind Hottest Hunks was Nanyang Press Holdings Berhad, Malaysia's most successful and authoritative Chinese media group which controls Life Magazines.

The Selangor & KL Chinese Assembly Hall was an unusual choice as it is a historic building and the interior is reminiscent of the 1950s and I could well imagine Tun Tan Siew Sin, Malaysia's first Minister of Finance, holding meetings there.

I was seated in the front row next to the stage and any further I would be on the stage itself. So I and Richard Latsch enjoyed the best views possible as VIP guests.

The opening show was a laser presentation by LightXaber Laser Productions which explained why the emcee told us not to use flash photography before it started. He could have explained it was going to be a laser show since such light beams are nothing new though they remain fascinating.

What stunned the audience was the Lectrosonic LED Dance by Vivas Magic! With the darkened stage, a silhouette suddenly appeared lit by LED lights so we could not see the dancer's face or body but only its shaped outlined by blue LEDs! As if by magic, five more appeared and disappeared according to the music! This synchronised dance composed entirely of LED lights was really fun and captivating.

Then came the main event---the appearance of all 30 hunks! This time in broad daylight so to speak as the house lights were switched on so we could drool and admire and clap rapturously!

The 30 gorgeous guys, some far more gorgeous than others, strode out in funky, cool Superheroes T shirts by Graffi T and Philosophy, the hottest menswear labels in Malaysia and wearing Lois Made in Spain jeans, the sexiest thigh clinging denims available!

Then came the announcement of the judges.

Of course I should have been the chief judge but Newicon magazine insisted the judges had to be women despite my argument I am better than any women I know.
The judges deciding the fate of the 30 Hottest Hunks were Wong Chui Ling, Tracy Chong, Anna Lim, Ngai Yuen and Joanne Yew.

Lois jeans sponsored vouchers for their denims for sporty guests willing to come on stage to do the Gangnam dance.

The first highlight was the Savanna cider drink show when finally (but not the last time) the 30 guys stripped off their shirts to reveal their bulging muscles. Some had interesting and noteworthy bulges in their Lois too I must say! But I believe such bulges had nothing to do with the marks by the judges.

Before the show started, I went to the loo only to discover it was the Ladies and the Men was at the opposite side. Of course I went straight into the Ladies as I was about to burst. The loo was next to the changing room so I sneaked in to take photos of the hunks as they were dressing up for these exclusive photos backstage!

Hottest Hunk of them all---James Ng Yin Teng! James Ng had body, brawn, brains, beauty and brilliant smile! I thought he deserved to win the ultimate title of Hottest Hunk of 2012 but it went to Daniel Tan

With perfect V-shaped body, brains and brilliant smile and height of 185cm, James Ng had everything to win Hunk of the Year!
L1360270.JPG
James Ng's megawatt smile enthralled the judges and one even insisted he joined the last 2 finalists to give a flying kiss as they think he should have been in the running for the ultimate title
