IT IS NOT EVERYDAY I TURN 33 BUT I DID ON 7 JANUARY AND MY BIRTHDAY LASTS TILL 7 MARCH SO EVERYDAY IS MY BIRTHDAY TILL MIDNIGHT OF 7 MARCH. MY BIRTHDAY SEASON LASTS LONGER THAN CHINESE NEW YEAR WHICH IS ONLY 15 DAYS.
THIS IS DUE TO MY MILLIONS OF FRIENDS WHO ALL INSIST ON TAKING ME OUT FOR MY BIRTHDAY AND SO I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO OBLIGE AND EXTEND MY BIRTHDAY TO ACCOMMODATE, PLEASE AND PLACATE MY LEGION OF FRIENDS. THIS IS WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR, WHAT...
Those who died aged 33 are in good company as Jesus Christ died aged 33 and so did Alexander the Great. Others include Eva Peron of 'Don't Cry for Me Argentina' fame, Eva Braun the lover of Adolf Hitler who died with him, Sanjay Gandhi who would have been India's Prime Minister, Richard II of England and many mystics of the Christian Church. The 8 I manage to find are St Catherine of Sienna, St Faustina Kowalska, St Josefa Menedez, St Michael of the Saints, Blessed Mary Baouordy, Marie Rose Ferron, Servant of God Domenica Lazzerri and Servant of God Louise Lateau.
Now I am in Kota Baru for Chinky New Year and am still celebrating, mostly in Hayaki chain of restaurants and in Golok at Paradise Disco at Genting Hotel, same name as our Genting but I really think the late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong clan has no share in this hotel.
